Thinking of Wine for your Wedding next year?

Published by admin under Wine

A Wedding is probably one of the most important Events in our lives. Isn’t there just an unbelievable amount of things to think about. The Wedding Dress, Tux Rental, Flowers, Location, Catering, Gift Registry, Invitations, Rehearsal Dinner etc. etc.  Hold on a moment, how about the choice of alcohol for your Reception? Isn’t that one of the most expensive choices you will make? Maybe you are one of the couples that are paying for it yourself and you are forced to make the decision of a cash bar.

Are you getting Married?

Are you getting Married?

If you are thinking of holding your Wedding Reception in a Hall or your lucky parents home you might consider planning ahead and have your Wine made for you for a third of the cost. For as little as $6 Bottle for your Customised Red and White wine this could be one of the most important decisions you make. Believe me when I say that no-one complains that you had it made when its Free at a Wedding. Have a Toast made with your totally unique Champagne (technically only Sparkling Wine) but honestly when it comes to Bubbly as long as it tastes good no-one cares if its made by yours truly. For the less sophisticated or “non wine snobs” there is always Beer, Cider, Coolers or even Hard lemonade (Mike would be proud)

Honestly now if you had to go and buy 5 cases of wine (thats worth drinking) 3 Flats of Beer, a flat of Cider and a flat of Mikes Favourite what will it cost you? Did I mention a Third of the cost…..I believe so!!

YES! OLD VINES ZINFANDEL IS BACK

Published by admin under Wine

Rich Full-Bodied Dry Red Wine
Rich Full-Bodied Dry Red Wine

The Beautiful sun-soaked coast of California produces over 90% of  US Wines. The varying soil conditions, unique microclimates and the focus on premium Vitis Vinifera grape varieties along with wine making experience dating back to the late 1700’s has allowed California to be one of the most important producers in the world.

Classic grape varities such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Pinot Noir & Zinfandel are artfully made into outstanding new world wines.

Zinfandel is a black variety predominantly grown in California. The grapes have been harvested from older vines
which have complex and intense fruit characteristics. Expect a dark ruby red colour with aromas and flavours of black cherry, blackberry, raspberry and spice, perfectly balanced by rich oak and vanilla notes. The firm tannins will provide great structure and mouth-feel, and with the abundance of fruit flavours, allow this wine to age gracefully for 2-3 years.
This is available in our Sommelier and Elite Kits which are our “Top of the Line”. They will cost you as little as $6 /Bottle
